In September, FARSPORTS proudly unveiled our latest wheel models for the 2025 season. These wheels, designed with athlete feedback in mind, quickly became a favorite among cyclists. Here’s what makes them exceptional:
- Optimized Rim Profiles: Redesigned to accommodate wider tires for better performance.
- Enhanced Weight Reduction: Further weight shaving on rims for improved agility.
- Star-Ratchet System: A significant upgrade from the previous 4-pawl freehub system. This decision was meticulously considered and implemented only after months of fine-tuning the manufacturing process to ensure exceptional precision.
Unlike the replicas that emerged following the expiration of the DT Swiss patent, FARSPORTS’ adoption of the star-ratchet system avoids compromises on manufacturing tolerance. The result? An efficient freehub that improves drivetrain performance and extends durability, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
Mae’s Interview with China Cycling
For the first time, FARSPORTS founder Mae stepped into the spotlight through an exclusive interview with Joe from China Cycling & Panda Podium. Mae’s journey into the carbon wheel industry, inspired by Belgian cycling legend Etienne de Wilde, captivated audiences.
In the interview, Mae highlighted her philosophy of prioritizing employee happiness and customer satisfaction over chasing unsustainable growth. Celebrating Inspirational Cyclist Stories
FARSPORTS has proudly supported exceptional athletes and teams over the years. In 2024, we celebrated their remarkable achievements and new beginnings.
Jimmy Whelan
- After a stellar 2023 season, Jimmy signed with Q36.5 and returned to pro racing.
- At the end of 2024, Jimmy transitioned to triathlons, and FARSPORTS is thrilled to support him in this new chapter.
DC Devo Racing Academy
FARSPORTS partnered with DC Devo Racing Academy during the 2022–2023 season, a team renowned for nurturing junior cycling talent.
- National Titles: In 2022, Lidia Cusack and Alyssa Sarkisov claimed national road race and time trial titles, repeating the feat in 2024.
- Lidia Cusack’s CX Triumphs: In 2024, Lidia dominated the junior cyclocross (CX) circuit, earning her first CX World Cup leader’s jersey in Dublin and winning CX Nationals in Louisville, KY.
